Abstract
1,062,002. Electric selective signalling. SIEMENS & HALSKE A.G. April 27, 1965 [April 28. 1964]. No. 17768/65. Heading G4H. Pulses emitted for each metre's movement of a track vehicle travelling between marking points, the mean distance between which is 100 metres, are passed to a counter Z 1 counting up to 100, which via a switch B1 prepares an AND gate K1 when the counter reaches 80 so that pulses emitted from E2 as the vehicle passes a marking point are passed through an OR gate M2 to reset the counter Z1 and in so doing step on a marking point counter Z2 and a disturbance counter Z3. On reaching a count of 100 before receipt of a marking point pulse the counter Z 1 automatically steps on the counter Z2 and Z3, and in the event of a marking pulse appearing when the counter Z1 is in its 0-20 stage the counter is reset without counter Z2 and Z3 being stepped on. If several marking point pulses are missed the counter Z3 gives an alarm signal. In a modification the apparatus is extended so that marking pulses occurring between 65 metres and 135 metres are counted.
