Abstract

A high temperature lubricant comprises at least one ester selected from a sebacate, an azelate, an adipate or a polyester of a polyol and 0.1-10% by weight of poly-isobutylene having a molecular weight of 500-5000. Many examples of esters are given. The composition may also contain tricresyl phosphate, dimethyl-laurylamine, N-methylphenothiazine, phenothiazine, chlorinated diphenyl, di-2-naphthylamine and dimethylamine.
