Abstract

1,059,542. Flowmeters. GEORGE KENT (STROUD) Ltd. Jan.25, 1965 [Jan. 25, 1964], No. 3320/64. Heading G1R. A flowmeter has two opposed end fittings 1 spaced by side plates 9, each fitting comprising a fixed body section 3 and flange section 4 spaced by a sealing ring 7. The flange section 4 forms a seating for an adaptor 14 which is surrounded by a peripheral ring 15 sealed by an O-ring 16. The adaptor is formed with a groove 18 housing a further O-ring 19 which seals against the inner surface of the flowmeter tube 20. In the assembled condition locking ring 23 screws on to threads 13 of the flange section 14 to clamp the adaptor flange 17 against its seating.
