Abstract
1,058,985. Transistor switching circuits. CSF-COMPAGNIE GENERALE DE TELEGRAPHIE SANS FIL. April 29, 1964 [May 2, 1963], No. 17658/64. Heading H3T. A changeover switching arrangement comprises a pair of transistors and two resistance chains for supplying both transistors from a common D.C. source, a switch being provided in one of said chains so that the setting of the switch determines which of the two transistors is conductive. As shown in Fig. 1, when switch E is open transistor Q2 is conductive, feeding the signal at B via transformer L1 to output terminal C. Closure of switch E reverses the conductive states of the transistors and allows the signal at A to be fed to the output C. Neutralizing capacitors C3, C4 are provided. Fig. 2 (not shown) relates to a similar arrangement comprising two transformers for selectively coupling a single input terminal to a pair of output terminals or for selecting which of two signal inputs is to be transmitted to an associated one of two output channels.
