Abstract

<PICT:1056556/C6-C7/1> A container 1, for holding annular bodies, e.g. bearing bushings of Al, which are to be electroplated internally using anodes e.g. of Ni, Cu or Pb disposed externally of the bodies, has a narrow box-like shape with two side walls of electrically nonconductive material e.g. plastics, the space between which is subdivided into a plurality of longitudinal shafts 2 e.g. separated by walls 3 in which the annular bodies 4 to be plated can be disposed in a column mutually contacting one another, the side walls being formed with circular holes 8 arranged coaxially with the bodies when arranged in the container. The narrow ends and base of the container may be constituted by a metallic frame 5 which is rubberised on all sides except for the contact points 6 of the bodies. A suspension device 9 may be provided on the frame.
