1,055,578. Making rotary cell-wheel feeders. HENRY SIMON Ltd. Oct. 21, 1964 [Nov. 1, 1963]. No. 43176/63. Heading B3A. In a rotary cell-wheel feeder of the type for transferring granulate or particulate materials from a store to a conveying duct, or the like, two flanges 6 are secured to a shaft 6 and sheet metal channel section units 7 are welded thereto so that the upstanding adjacent channel flanges 9, 10 are abutting. The flanges 9 are slightly shorter than the flanges 10 to provide a rebate for weld fillets 11. The length of the units 7 is equal to the spacing of the outer faces of the flanges 6.
