Tool-holders; turrets. -A tool-holder 1 for use in lathes and planing, &c. machines is formed with an enlarged end carrying a turret 3 which is formed with two or more passages 8 in which tools are secured by set-screws &c. The turret rotates on, or is secured to, a bolt 4, which may be formed with a conical head 5 and is clamped in the tool-holder by a nut. The turret is indexed by keys 7 engaging grooves in the tool-holder.
