Lathes; tools tool-holders.- An attachment for facilitating the turning or screw-cutting of parallel or taper chuck or rod work is shown as fixed to a hollow-spindle turret lathe in which the headstock 20 is movable on transverse guides 25 to adjust the cut. A wheel 37 on the spindle 21 drives another 36 on a vertical shaft 35 mounted in a head 33, which is pivoted in an eccentric hush 31 so that the wheels 36, 37 may be disengaged.
