Abstract

1,051,843. Vehicle wheels. VEREINIGTE DEUTSCHE METALLWERKE A.G. Aug. 6, 1963 [Aug. 7, 1962], No. 31035/63. Heading B7C. A vehicle wheel of integral construction comprises a well-based rim, a wheel body disc 1 and radial ribs 6 extending from the disc 1, on the inboard and outboard sides thereof, across the well base 3 and the bead receiving flanges 4 of the rim to the edges 5 of the rim. The centre 2 of the disc 1 is closed and the disc is provided near the centre 2 with ventilating slots 7 and with radial ventilating channels 8 on the inboard face of the disc. The wheel is cast of a light metal, and secured to a hub or brake equipment by means of bolts through holes 9 in the disc 1.
