Abstract
1,049,686. Inking-apparatus. ADAMOVSKE STROJIRNY. Oct. 26, 1964, No. 43525/64. Heading B6C. An ink train for inking the plate cylinder 29 of an offset printing machine comprises a feed roller 21, an ink distributing roller 1, a plurality of axially reciprocable rollers 8 mounted in a pair of auxiliary side frame members 5, and a plurality of forme inking rollers 20, the members 5 being mounted so as to be rotatable about the axis of the roller 1 by a manually operable linkage system 23-28 to trip the rollers 8 into inoperative positions. The drive is supplied to a toothed wheel on the shaft of the roller, and said wheel engages simultaneously three toothed wheels, one on the shaft of each roller 8. Each roller 8 is reciprocated axially by means of a roller which is pivoted on a pin on a sleeve, Fig. 1 (not shown), and engages the curved track of a cam mounted on the shaft of the roller 1. The contact pressure between the rollers 8 and the roller 1 is adjusted by rotating eccentric pins 14. The shafts 9 of the rollers 8 are mounted in grooves 32 in the members 5, which are positioned against stops under the bias of springs 16, said grooves being closed by plugs against which springs 31 press the shafts 9.
