104,966. Evans, D., Cadogan, J. P., Wideman, M., and Morgan, J. C. May 18, 1916. Paddle centrifugal fans; casings; regulating.- The impeller blades 12, which are secured to elbow supports 13 screwed into a boss 14, draw in air through apertures 8 in the walls 6 of the casing 2 and deliver it to the outlet 3 through the slots 5 and guides 4 of a fixed cylinder 1, which is concentric with the impeller, but eccentric to the casing 2. The guides 4 are formed by bending the metal outwards from the slots 5. A pipe tapering to a small mouth may be secured to the outlet 3, and a valve or damper may be fitted in the mouth.
