Abstract
<FORM:1048789/C1/1> The poles 1, 2 of a device for the magnetic treatment of liquid have inwardly projecting pole-faces 6, 7 which produce a flux transverse to the duct 8, the flux circuit being completed by abutting lugs 3, 4 of opposite polarity at the sides of the duct at each end. Several of these devices may be stacked together. Speed of flow and magnetic flux may be altered to suit the liquids to be treated.
