Armour. - Bullet-proof coverings for human beings, horses, and articles for use in war are made of a number of overlapping flexible sheets a, Fig. 1, attached along their edges to a flexible sheet b. The sheets in one series mav overlap laterally those in the next series as shown in Fig. 4, or the series in one row may overlap the join between those in the next row, as shown in Fig. 4a. The individual sheets a may be of resined fabric or of fabric reinforced with resilient wire.
