Abstract

1,046,984. Gloves. J. WEINBERG. March 25, 1965, No. 12611/65. Heading A3V. A glove comprises a palm 11 of leather or other substantially inelastic material a back 12 of transversely elastic material, fourchettes 14-17 stretchable length and width-ways of the fingers and a thumb 13 including a portion 48 of the same material as the palm and a portion 49 of the same material as the back. The transverse stretchability of the fourchettes is less per unit area than that of the back. Strips of inelastic material such as the thumb strip 56 may extendalso from the joints between the fingers to the cuff.
