Abstract

1,046,115. Thread guide holders. BARMER MASCHINENFABRIK A.G. Nov. 5, 1963 [Nov. 8, 1962], No. 43681/63. Heading D1D. A thread guide holder is attached to a traversing bar by adjustable fastening means which are independent of the adjustable fastening means used to secure the guide to the holder. A holder 6 which partly encloses a traversing bar 1 is secured thereto by a screw 10 bearing on a shaped block 7 in contact with the bar 1. The thread guide 11 is attached to the holder by a screw 13 which passes through a clamp 14 and a slotted portion 12 of the thread guide. The slotted portion 12 allows for adjustment of the position of the guide 11 which adjustment can be made without removing the holder 6. Alternatively the holder and guide may be removed from the bar 1 without disturbing adjacent guides. In a modification (Figs. 1 and 2 not shown) the holder completely surrounds the bar.
