Abstract

A composition comprises a rubbery butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer, a viscous, sticky, liquid copolymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile having a viscosity of 75,000 to 100,000 centipoises measured at 30 DEG C., and a heat-hardenable phenolic resin. The composition may also contain fillers, pigments, plasticizers, and curing agents for the phenolic resin. The composition is adherent to metals and is capable of sealing cracks and joints.
