Abstract

1,041,857. Nails. SIGNODE CORPORATION. Aug. 30, 1963, No. 34464/63. Heading F2H. [Also in Division B4] The heads 13 of nails are shaped so that the shanks 14 can be joined side-by-side by an adhesive 16 such as a polyester or other natural or synthetic resin, lacquer or rubber and possibly tapes 17 of paper or synthetic resin or a pressure-sensitive tape. The nail strip is for use in a nailing machine (see Division B4). The head is mainly circular with part of the perimeter chordal 20a, Fig. 10, and in order that the heads may have a uniform minor width W, a portion 20b (opposite the chordal part 20a) may be cut away and may be arcuate as shown or straight.
