Abstract

1342385 Nailing F LEMANCHEC 19 April 1971 [5 March 1970] 23290/71 Heading B4C Upholstery nails 6 are guided and positioned by a strip of discs 1 made of plastics, e.g. polythene interconnected by thin short narrow lugs 9, each disc having a hole whose diameter is smaller than the major diameter of a nail point. The shape and thickness of the discs is sufficient to guide and hold the nail heads during driving. Male and female end portions 16, 12 permit joining together of a plurality of strips. The spacing between any pair of adjacent holes equals the diameter of the nail heads.
