Abstract
1,038,976. Tractor frames. P. F. ROBINSON. June 4, 1963 [June 15, 1962], No.23042/62. Heading B7D. An upright member 15 attached to the rear axle casing of a tractor 11 is provided with a circular table 19 on which is rotatably mounted a circular base-plate 20 of a jib support 14. A jib 13 is pivotally mounted on a horizontal shaft 25 and may be raised or lowered by a screw 33 using a manually operated handle (not shown). At the upper end of the jib 13 an endless belt conveyer unit 12 is pivotally mounted on a shaft 42. A lifting arm 64 is pivotally attached to the jib 13 at 65 and is provided with spaced side rollers 66 at its other end which run in channel members 67 fixed to the underside of the conveyer frame 12 on opposite sides thereof. The angular position of the conveyer unit 12 in relation to the jib 13 can be adjusted by an hydraulic ram 61 pivotally mounted at one end on a pin 63 on the lifting arm 64 and, at the other end, on a pin (not shown) on the lower end of the jib 13. The whole structure mounted on the plate 19 may be rotated about a vertical axis and a locking pin 20a used to retain a selected angular position.
