A sheet of paper to be folded along the lines 12 and 14 is provided with an area of slits 15 extending from the intersection of the two fold lines to one side edge. The slits extend across and to both sides of the fold line and are straight, as shown, curved, or substantially Z-shaped. The two end points of each slit are in a straight line set at an acute angle to the fold line 12. A second area of oppositely inclined slits 16 may be provided. Each Z- shaped slit may be formed as three disconnected parts.
