Abstract

A bed-warmer comprises a porous container which is connected through a tube with a device supplying warm air, the container being formed of a porous foamed synthetic resin material so that the warm air may pass from the container into the bed. The surface of the porous container is formed with corrugations so that the bedding is held clear of a substantial proportion of the pores in the container, the end of the tube being closed and the walls of the tube being perforated. The device supplying the warm air includes a fan and a heater element, a device to control the rate of the air flow a thermostat, and a safety cut-out device.
