Hook fastenings. -In fasteners for motor bonnets, of the type comprising a hooked lever pivoted to a spring controlled plunger contained within a tubular housing, the housing a is pivotally mounted in a bracket b secured to a part d of the vehicle. A lever g pivoted to the rod e is provided with a hook h engaging a part i attached to the bonnet c, and with a shoulder k adapted to rock upon a lug j projecting from the housing. Alternatively, the lever g may be pivoted to the lug j.
