A clamping-bar c is pivoted at one end to the cover d of the generating-chamber a, and is attached at the other end to the lamp body by a pin or bolt e having a free movement through a limited range. When in place, the cover is secured by a pivoted lever g, the outer end of which is swung into a slot in the bar c and is provided, with a wing or other nut i for pressing the cover on to its seat.
