Abstract

1,030,851. Flexible couplings; clutches. AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS CO. Ltd. Feb. 6, 1963 [Feb. 8, 1962], No. 4873/62. Headings F2C and F2U. A resilient coupling between a tractor internal combustion engine and a pump or pumps supplying pressure fluid to motors for propelling the tractor, comprises tangential springs transmitting torque between a plate 3 bolted to the engine flywheel 1 and an internally splined hub 4 which is engaged by the pump drive-shaft 17. A power take-off sleeve 19 is coaxial with the pump shaft 17, and is splined to the hub 8 of a friction clutch-plate 7 which is clamped between the flywheel 1 and a pressure plate 11 by springs 12 and disengaged by release levers 14.
