Abstract
1,030,011. Builder motion. SPINNEREIMASCHINENBAU KARL-MARX-STADT VEB. March 11, 1963, No. 9591/63. Heading D1D. Means for progressively shortening the lift of bobbin rails in flyer frames comprise a pair of limit switches, 1, 2, (see Fig. 4 not shown) which are mounted on the oppositely threaded portions of a shaft 3 and are alternately engaged by a rocker 6 operated from the bobbin rail. The operation of each switch 1, 2 causes a solenoid 7 to be energized and the consequent movement of the armature 8 causes the drive to the bobbin rail to be reversed via an advancing mechanism S<SP>1</SP> and movable level gears 23, and simultaneously causes the shaft 3 to be rotated via a lever 12, advancing mechanism S and chain 9 so that switches 1, 2 are moved closer to shorten the lift. The amount by which the lift shortens is adjusted by moving the pivot is of the lever 12 along a slot in the lever, the pivot being moved by manual means including a knob 38, a spindle 37 and a rope 39. The movement of chain 9 also shifts the belt in the opposed cone, variable speed bobbin driving device. In Fig. 5 (not shown) the reversing switches 54, 55 are stationary and are operated by levers 56, 57, the opposite ends of which are alternately engaged by a stop 62 in the bobbin rail 61. The levers are pivoted on sleeves 58, 59 slidable on a rod 60 under the influence of an endless rope 64. The rope 64 is shifted by rotation of a shaft 63 driven in the same manner as shaft 3 in the embodiment of Fig. 1 so as to produce the progressive shortening of the lift. In Fig. 6 (not shown) the switchs 54, 55 are stationary but the operating levers 64, 65 which are alternately engaged by a stop 62 on the bobbin rail 61 are pivoted on a common block 67 which is progressively shifted along a threaded shaft 66 rotated in the same manner as shaft 3 in the embodiment of Fig. 1. 1.
