Abstract

[Also in Division E1] Building panels each comprising a filling layer 3 contained within an outer tray-shaped skin 1 of a fibre-reinforced synthetic resin material and backed with asbestos board 4, are of storey height and are provided with a metal reinforcement 2 secured on the inner surface of the skin 1. Fig. 3 shows that part of a panel which lies between a window aperture and a sealing strip 7 provided on the panel edge, the filling layer 3 being of foamed polyurethane, foamed concrete, asbestos fibre, or compressed vermiculite. The fibre reinforced synthetic resin material is a polyester, epoxy, or silicone resin reinforced with glass fibres, or is an asbestos filled phenolic resin.
