Abstract

1,027,883. Voltage regulators. PARMEKO Ltd. Oct. 26, 1964 [Oct.26, 1963J, No.42308/63. Heading G3X. [Also in Divisions H1 and H2] A D.C. load/ 10 is supplied from an A.C, source by way of a constant voltage transformer 1, of the type having a resonant secondary winding 5 associated with a capacitor 6, and a rectifier 7 connected to a separate output winding 11 inductively coupled to the winding 5. A compensating winding 12, coupled to the primary winding 4 of the transformer, may be connected in circuit with the winding 11. The transformer 1, Fig. 2, not shown comprises a magnetic core 2 and a shunt 3 producing a degree of leakage resistance; the winding 5 is wound about a central limb 2a of the core 2 and the separate output winding 11 is wound about and supported upon the winding 5; the windings 4 and 12 are similarly mounted on the core 2a as shown.
