1,027,444. Time-alarm signals, alarm clocks. JAZ S.A. Feb.13, 1963 [Feb. 16,1962], No. 5854/63. Heading G3T. [Also in Division H2] A time control mechanism for operating an electric alarm comprises a disc 1 rotatable one revolution in twelve hours and spring biased toward an angularly settable control plate 3. A projection 2 on the disc drops into an aperture 5 in the control member at the set time to close an electric contact 9 carried by a spring strip 6 mounted on the opposite side of the control plate, the contact engaging a fixed contact ring 11. The strip 6 has an edge 10, Fig. 3 (not shown) overlapping the aperture 5 by a small amount which determines the duration of the alarm. Hour and minute hands 21, 34 show the time.
