Abstract

1,025,690. Incinerators. WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC CORPORATION. Nov. 24, 1964 [Dec. 16, 1963; Dec. 23, 1963], No. 47790/64. A waste incinerator comprises a bin 3 with an inverted cone shaped bottom portion 10 against which rests the plug 8 of waste, forced downwardly by the inflatable bag 5. Air is pumped in through a pipe 13, heated by electric elements 14 and enters the combustion chamber through holes 15. Exhaust gases are extracted through pipe 16 and the ash may be removed from chamber 1 in any suitable manner.
