Abstract

1,024,696. Ground anchors. CEMENTATION CO. Ltd. Oct. 25, 1963 [Oct. 26, 1962], No. 40673/62. Heading E1B. A cable 2 is anchored at its end in a hole 1 in the ground using grout, the cable being secured inside a sleeve 3 having a part of increasing cross-section. The cable is secured to the sleeve using a matrix of white metal, or, as shown, the cable ends are bent around a plug 4 provided with fins or grooves to retain individual strands of cable. White metal or a resin material 6 may be inserted in the sleeve, which is then closed with a plug 5.
