Healds, threading; weavers' tools. -A device for facilitating the threading of warp threads through the eyes of loom healds comprises a hollow conical member or funnel a having a gap or slot e therein at one side and a finger or spike c, which serves to direct the funnel into a selected heald eye, the funnel and spike being carried by, or formed integrally with, a handle or holder b. In use, the operator inserts the spike through the eye with the flat portion vertical, and gives it a quarter-turn to open the eye, so that the funnel may be passed into it. The threading-hook with a selected warp thread is passed into the funnel and guided thereby through the eye. The device is then withdrawn, the warp thread passing through the slot e.
