An anti-static shoe has an inner sole 5 of synthetic rubber which has a high electrical conductivity, the synthetic rubber being a mixed polymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile, a wearing sole 3 of the same material, the two soles being bonded together by a layer of polychloroprene 4 and being connected by a conductor 6 e.g. stranded copper wire or copper fabric, which extends through the bonding layer.
