Abstract

A building panel comprises a core of expanded polystyrene, on one or both faces of which is cast a layer of asbestos cement, which is keyed to the core. The core may be provided with grooves in its surface to provide the key, or the core is cut from a larger slab of polystyrene and the holes then present in the core surface key with the cement.
