Sodium perborate, obtaining; electrodes. - Cathodes used in the production of sodium perborate by anode oxidation consist of metals, other than nickel, giving no appreciable supertension, for example iron and copper, and have their current connexions protected against the combined action of the electrolyte and air by being made of, or coated with, nickel at their points of emergence from the liquid.
