Abstract
1020178 Cylinders DAIMLER-BENZ A G 17 April 1964 [17 April 1963] 16055/64 Headings C5G and G10B A method of decarbonizing comprises the steps of removing the air filter, introducing a predetermined amount of an oxidizing agent, e.g. hydrogen peroxide, with the combustion air for a limited period while the engine is running, and then replacing the filter. The oxidizing agent may be introduced by use of an aerosol capsule or spray gun, the propellant being propane or butane.
