Abstract

1,017,683. Electrophotographic processes. RANK XEROX Ltd. June 12,1962 [June 12, 1961], No.36255/65. Divided out of 1,017,681. Heading G2H. The subject-matter of this specification is included in that described in Specification 1,017,681, but the claims are concerned with a method of forming a half-tone image by charging an electrophotographic member in a half-tone pattern exposing the member to an image pattern and developing the electrostatic latent image formed. The electrophotographic member may be charged through a perforated screen closely adjacent thereto or by an embossed roller or platen.
