[Also in Division F4] A device for preheating hair curl clamps 13 by circulating hot air, comprises tubes 6 on which the clamps are placed for heating and which are arranged in a ring with their ends opening into an upper chamber 9 and into a lower chamber 3, and a larger central tube 7 also opening into both chambers and enclosing an electric heating coil 7. An electric motor 2 in the base 1 drives a fan 5 in the chamber 3 which circulates air downwards in the tube 7, where it is heated, and upwards in the tubes 6 to heat the walls thereof. The ends of the tubes are rubber-sealed to the plates 4, 10 and a thermostat 12 and switch 14 are provided.
