1,011,630. Grinding. POVAZSKE STROJABNE, NARODNI PODNIK. Oct. 28, 1964 [Nov. 11, 1963], No. 43943/64. Heading B3D. A device for dressing V-shaped grinding wheels 1 used for the working of glass products comprises two dressing rollers 4 which are adapted to be located one on each side of the cutting edge 2 of the grinding wheel and are carried by displaceable supports 10 movable along guides 13 arranged to form the same angle as the generatrices of the conical surfaces, the supports being connected by rods 14 with the arms 15 of a three-armed lever, the third arm of which is linked with the connecting rod 18 of a crank mechanism 19. The device is mounted on a base plate 5 having cut-outs 6 for the supports 10 which slide along the rods 13, the latter being adjustably mounted on the base plate by screw-and-nut mechanisms in arcuate slots 7 in the base plate. Each support adjustably clamps a rod 12 carrying the holder 11 of a dressing roller and is connected by a rod 14 to an arm 15 of the lever 16. As the lever is rocked by the crank mechanism 19 and rod 18, the supports 10 are moved along the guides for the rollers to dress the conical surfaces of the grinding wheel.
