Abstract

1,010,670. Reciprocating pumps and motors. GEWERKSCHAFT EISENHUTTE WESTFALIA. July 6, 1962 [July 28, 1961], No. 25994/62. Heading F1A. In a reversible swash plate motor or pump having a pair of inlet and outlet valves 5 associated with each cylinder, each valve 5 is operated by an hydraulic differential piston 10 actuated by liquid from the pressure side of the pump or motor. A spring-loaded, four-way distributing slide valve 11 is associated with each pair of valve pistons 10. Slide valves 11 are actuated in timed relation by a shaftdriven cam 17. The pressure connection 12 for slide valves 11 communicates with the high and low pressure ducts 7, 9 of the pump or motor via check valves 13, 14.
