[Also in Division B7] A cylindrical dashpot 10 acting on the forked end 9 of a lever 5 of a vehicle air suspension system (see Division B7) comprises two alcohol or other liquid filled chambers 14, 15 interconnected by passage 13 and bounded by movable flexible diaphragms 20, 21 reinforced by plates 16, 17 and contacted by pins 22, 23, spring 23a ensuring continuous contact as the volume of the chambers varies with atmospheric conditions.
