1,004,458. Pouring spouts for containers; stoppers. H. GLASMACHER, and H. H. REUSS, [trading as BLECHWARENFAB. BRIK GUSTAV GRUSS & CO.]. Aug. 8, 1961 [Aug. 5, 1960; Sept. 21, 1960], No. 28554/61. Headings B8D and B8T. A pouring nozzle filled from within through an aperture 2 in a container has a flange 6 abutting on the inside of the container and adjacent a doubly-cored portion 7, 8, the part 8 facilitating insertion and the part 7 engaging the sharp edge 4 of the aperture to lock the insert into position. The insert may be closed by a cap 11 or a screw cap or tear-off cover and the cap and insert are preferably made of plastics. An annular strengthening corrugation 12 on the container around the aperture 2 may be provided with tangential extensions 13.
