Abstract

The invention comprises dyestuffs of the formula <FORM:1003786/C4-C5/1> where T is the radical of a nickel phthalocyanine containing sulphonic acid groups and optionally sulphamide groups, R is phenylene, which may carry a sulphonic acid group, or alkylene of 2-6 carbons, p, n and m are each 1 or 2, R1 is monocyclic or bicyclic arylene radical and R2 is the radical of a coupling component whose coupling capacity is due to the presence of an enolizable or enolized keto group, and mixtures of such dyes wherein p = 1 with those wherein p = 2. The dyes are made by coupling a diazo or tetrazo compound of an amine of the formula <FORM:1003786/C4-C5/2> with an appropriate coupling component, by condensing a cyanuric halide on one hand with a compound of the formula <FORM:1003786/C4-C5/3> and on the other hand with an aminoazo dye of the formula H2N-R1-N = N-R2, or by acylating a compound of the formula <FORM:1003786/C4-C5/4> with a nickel phthalocyanine sulphohalide. Coupling components mentioned are acetoacetic acid anilide-31-sulphonic acid barbituric acid, 2 : 4-dihydroxyquinoline and a number of 5-pyrazolones which couple in 4-position. The dyes dye and print silk, wool, superpolyamides and natural or regenerated cellulose materials in green shades.
