PAPER CONTAINER FOR COSMETIC PRODUCTS FIELD OF INVENTION

The invention relates to containers for cosmetic products and more particularly to a paper container for cosmetic products.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

To reduce environmental pollution, some manufacturers have changed the material used to make cosmetic containers from plastic to paper. In a conventional paper container for cosmetic products, a magnet is provided on each of a lid and a receptacle such that the container can be securely closed due to magnetic attraction when a magnet is attached to the other magnet.

However, the container has magnets that must be sorted when the container is recycled. This is not good for environmental protection.

So, the need for improvement still exists.

The present invention relates to a paper container, comprising:

a case made of cardboard and comprising a cover, a base and a hinged section hingedly interconnected to the cover and the base; And

a sheet of paper attached to interior surfaces of both the cover and the hinged section;

wherein the cover comprises a coupling element; And

wherein the base includes at least one receptacle in an upper surface for receiving at least one cosmetic product, a through hole through each of the at least one receptacle and a complementary coupling element configured to cooperate with the coupling element when the lid is closed on the base.

According to one embodiment, the coupling element comprises a junction part having one surface fixed to the cover and the other surface fixed to the sheet of paper, an articulated front part, an intermediate part interconnected in an articulated manner to the part of junction and at the articulated front part, and a tongue at a junction edge of the hinged front part and the intermediate part; and the complementary coupling member is on a front end of a bottom of the base, the complementary coupling member being configured to receive the hinged front portion when the cover is closed on the base.

According to another embodiment, the coupling element comprises a junction part having one surface fixed to the cover and the other surface fixed to the sheet of paper, and an articulated front part; and the complementary coupling element is on an upper surface of the base, the complementary coupling element being configured to receive the hinged front portion when the cover is closed on the base.

According to yet another embodiment, the cover comprises the coupling element in an exterior surface, and a graphic display area disposed on the exterior surface of the cover and adjacent to the coupling element; and the complementary coupling element extends out from a front end of a bottom of the base and in correspondence with the coupling element, the complementary coupling element comprising an articulated junction part formed of a single holding with a front end of the base, a hinged front portion configured to fit into the coupling member, and a tab at a joining edge of the hinged joining portion and the hinged front portion.

Preferably, the cover further comprises a recess in the interior surface, the recess having two tapered sides, the recess including a cavity around one edge; a mirror in the recess and fixed by the cavity; and a cutout provided in the inner surface of the cover adjacent to an edge of the mirror.

The invention has the following advantages and benefits compared to the conventional state of the art:

Recyclable for environmental protection purposes. The mirror is retracted into the cavity to be attached to the cover rather than being attached to the cover using adhesive. This arrangement helps reduce environmental pollution. After consuming a cosmetic product contained in the paper container, a person can easily disengage the mirror from the cover by removing the mirror from the recess and cavity for recycling. The case is made of cardboard rather than plastic and adhesive. It is therefore environmentally friendly.

Reusable. A box of cosmetic product can be removably placed in the receptacle. After consuming a cosmetic product contained in the cosmetic product box, a person can insert his or her finger through the through hole to push the cosmetic product box out of the receptacle. The paper container can be reused for environmental protection purposes.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Referring to Figures 1 to 5, a paper container for cosmetic products (hereinafter "cosmetic product container") according to a first preferred embodiment of the invention comprises a housing 10 made of cardboard and comprising a cover 11 , a base 21 and an articulated section 15 hingedly interconnected to the cover 11 and the base 21; a coupling element (e.g., a flap) 12 which is partially attached to an interior surface of the cover 11; and a recess 13 provided in the interior surface of the cover 11 and having two conical sides, the recess 13 comprising a cavity 131 around one edge, a coupling element (e.g., a flap) 12 being partially attached to a inner surface of cover 11; and a recess 13 provided in the interior surface of the cover 11 and having two tapered sides, the recess 13 comprising a cavity 131 around one edge. The base 21 includes a complementary coupling element (e.g., a groove) 22 on a front end of a bottom, a mirror 30 is provided in the recess 13, and a receptacle 23 in a top surface and a through hole 24 through the receptacle 23.

A sheet of paper 32 is attached to interior surfaces of both housing 10 and hinged section 15 to cover them. The sheet of paper 32 is configured to cover folds and/or creases on the interior surface of the cover 11 such that the housing 10 can be aesthetically pleasing and the attachment of the flap 12 and the cover 11 can be improved.

The mirror 30 is entered into the cavity 131 to be attached to the cover 11 rather than being attached to the cover 11 by means of an adhesive. This arrangement helps reduce environmental pollution. After consuming a cosmetic product contained in the paper container, a person can easily disengage the mirror 30 from the cover 11 by removing the mirror 30 from the recess 13 and the cavity 131 for recycling purposes.

As specifically shown in Figures 1 and 2, the flap 12 includes a joining portion 1231 having one surface attached to the cover 11 and the other surface attached to the sheet of paper 32, a hinged front portion 1211 configured to insert into the groove 22, an intermediate part 122 interconnected in an articulated manner to the junction part 1231 and to the hinged front part 1211, and a tongue 124 to an intermediate part of a junction edge of the hinged front part 1211 and the part intermediate 122. After closing the cover 11 on the base 21 then inserting the hinged front part 1211 in the groove 22, the intermediate part 122 pushes against a front end of the base 21. A person can pull on the tab 124 to remove the articulated front part 1211 of groove 22.

As specifically shown in Figures 3, 4 and 5, two sides of the mirror 30 are inserted into the cavity 131 so as to fit the mirror 30 into the cavity 131. A cosmetic product can be placed in the receptacle 23. After consuming the cosmetic product, the person can insert their finger into the through hole 24 to push the cosmetic product out of the receptacle 23.

There shows a paper container for cosmetic products according to a second preferred embodiment of the invention. The characteristics of the second preferred embodiment are substantially the same as those of the first preferred embodiment, except for the following: a plurality of receptacles 23 are provided in an upper surface of the base 21 and a plurality of holes through-holes 24 each pass through the receptacle 23. A plurality of cosmetic products can be placed in the receptacles 23, respectively. A cutout 14 is provided in the interior surface of the cover 11, adjacent to an edge of the mirror 30 and near the articulated section 15. The mirror 30 is entered into the cavity 131 to be fixed to the cover 11.

Figures 7 and 8 show a paper container for cosmetic products according to a third preferred embodiment of the invention. The characteristics of the third preferred embodiment are substantially the same as those of the second preferred embodiment, with the exception of the following: the coupling element 12 comprises a junction portion 1232 having a surface attached to the cover 11 and the other surface attached to the sheet of paper 32, and a hinged front portion 1212. The complementary coupling element (e.g., a groove) 22 is provided on the upper surface of the base 21 adjacent to its front end. The mirror 30 is entered into the cavity 131 to be fixed to the cover 11. After closing the cover 11 on the base 21, the person can insert the front part 1212 into the groove 22.

Figures 9 and 10 show a paper container for cosmetic products according to a fourth preferred embodiment of the invention. The characteristics of the fourth preferred embodiment are detailed as follows: the coupling element (for example, a groove) 12 is provided in an outer surface of the cover 11. A graphic display area 16 is provided on the outer surface of the cover 11 and adjacent to the groove 12. The complementary coupling element (e.g., a flap) 22 extends out from a front end of a bottom of the base 21 and corresponds to the groove 12. The flap 22 comprises a hinged junction portion 221 formed integrally with a front end of the base 21, a hinged front portion 222 configured to fit into the groove 12, and a tongue 223 at an intermediate portion of an edge of junction of the articulated junction part 221 and the articulated front part 222. After closing the cover 11 on the base 21, the person can insert a portion of the articulated front part 222 into the groove 12, the remaining part of it this resting on the exterior surface of the cover 11 and the articulated front part 222 pushing against the front end of the base 21. A person can pull on the tongue 223 to remove the portion of the articulated front part 222 from the groove 12.

The invention provides that the cosmetic product container is made entirely of paper, which is environmentally friendly.

Although the invention has been described in terms of preferred embodiments, those skilled in the art will recognize that the invention can be practiced with modifications, without departing from the scope of the present invention.

Claims (5)

Paper container, characterized by the fact that it includes:
a case (10) made of cardboard and comprising a cover (11), a base (21) and a hinged section (15) hingedly interconnected to the cover (11) and the base (21); And
a sheet of paper (32) attached to interior surfaces of both the cover (11) and the hinged section (15);
wherein the cover (11) comprises a coupling element (12); And
wherein the base (21) comprises at least one receptacle (23) in an upper surface for receiving at least one cosmetic product, a through hole (24) through each of the at least one receptacle (23) and a holding member complementary coupling (22) configured to cooperate with the coupling element (12) when the cover (11) is closed on the base (21). Paper container according to claim 1, characterized in that:
the coupling member (12) comprises a joining part (1231) having one surface fixed to the cover (11) and the other surface fixed to the sheet of paper (32), a hinged front part (1211), a part intermediate part (122) hingedly interconnected to the joining part (1231) and the hinged front part (1211), and a tongue (124) to a joining edge of the hinged front part (1211) and the intermediate part (122); And
the complementary coupling element (22) is on a front end of a bottom of the base (21), the complementary coupling element (22) being configured to receive the hinged front part (1211) when the cover (11 ) is closed on the base (21). Paper container according to claim 1, characterized in that:
the coupling member (12) comprises a joining part (1232) having one surface fixed to the cover (11) and the other surface fixed to the paper sheet (32), and a hinged front part (1212); And
the complementary coupling element (22) is on an upper surface of the base (21), the complementary coupling element (22) being configured to receive the hinged front part (1212) when the cover (11) is closed on the base (21). Paper container according to claim 1, characterized in that:
the cover (11) includes the coupling element (12) in an outer surface, and a graphic display area (16) provided on the outer surface of the cover (11) and adjacent to the coupling element (12) ; And
the complementary coupling member (22) extends out from a front end of a bottom of the base (21) and in correspondence with the coupling member (12), the complementary coupling member (22) comprising a hinged junction portion (221) integrally formed with a front end of the base (21), a hinged front portion (222) configured to fit into the coupling member (12), and a tongue (223) to a joining edge of the hinged junction part (221) and the hinged front part (222). Paper container according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the cover (11) further comprises a recess (13) in the inner surface, the recess (13) having two tapered sides, the recess (13) comprising a cavity (131) around an edge; a mirror (30) in the recess (13) and fixed by the cavity (131); and a cutout (14) provided in the inner surface of the cover (11) adjacent to an edge of the mirror (30).
