Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé de localisation et/ou de mesure de vitesse d'un véhicule se déplaçant le long d'une voie de guidage, par exemple une voie de chemin de fer formée de deux rails, et à un dispositif équipant un tel véhicule, notamment une navette autonome. Pour améliorer les conditions de circulation d’une flotte de navettes, de rames de métro, d’une flotte d’engins autonomes de manutention, ou des trains sur un réseau de chemins de fer, ainsi que la sécurité de l'ensemble du trafic, il est nécessaire de connaître avec précision la vitesse et l'emplacement (position) de chaque véhicule sur la voie de guidage.
