Abstract
VÉHICULE AUTOMOBILE AVEC COUSSIN GONFLABLE THORAX A POSITIONNEMENT MODULÉ PAR L’INCLINAISON DU DOSSIER L’invention a trait à un véhicule automobile comprenant un siège (10) avec un dossier inclinable (10.2) ; un dispositif à coussin gonflable (12) disposé latéralement au siège (10) et configuré pour protéger le thorax d’un occupant dudit siège en cas de choc latéral avec le véhicule ; et un dispositif d’asservissement (16) configuré pour asservir une retenue d’une partie haute du coussin gonflable (12.2) en fonction de l’inclinaison du dossier (10.2), de manière à retenir davantage ladite partie haute lorsque le dossier est incliné vers l’arrière et vice versa. L’invention a trait au domaine des véhicules automobiles, plus particulièrement au domaine de la protection des occupants d’un véhicule automobile en cas de choc, en particulier en cas de choc latéral.The invention relates to the field of motor vehicles, more particularly to the field of protecting the occupants of a motor vehicle in the event of an impact, in particular in the event of a side impact.
Les véhicules automobiles actuels sont équipés de différents dispositifs à coussin gonflable, destinés à protéger les occupants du véhicule en cas de collision. Ces dispositifs à coussin gonflable sont également couramment désignés par l’expression anglo-saxonne « airbag ». Parmi ceux-ci on compte notamment les dispositifs dit frontaux, disposés dans le volant et le tableau de bord, ainsi que les latéraux, disposés dans les sièges ou dans la caisse du véhicule latéralement aux sièges. Parmi les dispositifs latéraux, on compte les dispositifs dits thorax, c’est-à-dire configurés pour se déployer latéralement au buste et éventuellement à la tête d’un occupant, de manière à protéger de manière principale le thorax de l’occupant en cas de collision latérale. Pour les occupants avant, les dispositifs à coussin gonflable du type thorax sont habituellement logés dans le dossier des sièges avant, alors que pour les occupants arrière, ils sont souvent logés dans la caisse du véhicule automobile, à l’arrière des portes arrière. Or, il est courant que les sièges arrière soient individuels et aient un dossier inclinable. Les dispositifs à coussin gonflable du type thorax pour des tels sièges sont cependant dimensionnés et positionnés pour une inclinaison dite normale du dossier, signifiant qu’un occupant de ce siège avec le dossier incliné différemment est susceptible d’être moins bien protégé en ce que son buste ne va pas rencontrer la zone optimale du coussin gonflable.Current motor vehicles are equipped with various airbag devices, intended to protect the occupants of the vehicle in the event of a collision. Ils sont notamment pourvus de moyens de retenue et de tension dans une direction longitudinale, de manière à positionner le coussin alors gonflé au plus prêt de l’occupant. Ces dispositifs à coussin gonflable ne sont cependant pas latéraux du type thorax et par conséquent sont moins sujets au problème évoqué ci-avant de défaut de positionnement en fonction des réglages du siège.The published patent document WO 2004/050435 A1 discloses in particular in relation to its figures 1, 2, 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d, front airbag devices for rear occupants of motor vehicles. caractérisé en ce que le véhicule automobile (2) comprend, en outre :
- un dispositif d’asservissement (16) configuré pour asservir une retenue d’une partie haute du coussin gonflable (12.2) en fonction de l’inclinaison du dossier (10.2), de manière à retenir davantage ladite partie haute lorsque le dossier est incliné vers l’arrière et vice versa.Motor vehicle (2) comprising:
