Description
The present disclosure relates to a collar intended to encircle a fluid, water or gas pipeline for example and more particularly a branch collar.
The present disclosure relates to the transport of fluid, and more particularly that of the water supply for which it is known to create a diversion from a water pipe, for example for the creation of the water supply new homes. There are thus diversion collars which traditionally comprise a saddle equipped with a valve and a flange (flexible or rigid). Conventionally, this type of collar is mounted on a water pipe under load (or not), the flexible flange being deformed to surround the pipe, the saddle resting on an outer wall of the pipe by means of a seal providing fluid tightness with the pipe. The bypass is thus created by piercing the pipe through the collar tubing.
De tels colliers sont, par exemple, connus des documents FR 2.809.471, WO 99/32823 ou encore FR 2.933.764.Such branch collars are known from the state of the art and traditionally consist of a rigid saddle intended to be applied in a sealed manner, via the joint on the pipe, opposite a tapping orifice, and of a flexible flange (or bracelet) for tightening the saddle on the pipe. In known manner, the flange, generally made from a metal strip, is flexible and is secured to the saddle, a rigid part, in particular of foundry, or even of bar turning, by means of lateral attachment means to said saddle. These fixing means comprise screwing means for tightening the collar, namely the flange/saddle assembly on the pipe. Such collars are, for example, known from documents FR 2,809,471, WO 99/32823 or even FR 2,933,764.
The present disclosure, however, is more particularly concerned with the state of the art of collars comprising essentially two collar sections, rigid, movable relative to each other from one relative to the other, and that for example known from documents EP2182267 (A1) or FR2284083 (A1).
Les deux autres extrémités en regard des deux sections rigides sont reliées par un système de serrage à vis et plus particulièrement un système vis et écrou qui permet d’assurer le serrage du collier et la compression du joint sur la canalisation tout en assurant un réglage continu lors du serrageThis type of collar may in particular have a discontinuous adjustment system, with two ends opposite the two rigid sections which have conformations with a hook function allowing their mutual attachment, in two adjustment positions to allow a first discontinuous adjustment to the diameter of the collar as disclosed according to EP 2182267 (A1), or even having two perforations for the insertion of a removable hinge pin as disclosed by FR2284083 (A1). The two other ends facing the two rigid sections are connected by a screw clamping system and more particularly a screw and nut system which ensures the clamping of the collar and the compression of the seal on the pipe while ensuring continuous adjustment. when tightening
In both cases, the collar is closed by threading the screw through two bores of two legs of the two rigid sections of the collar, the screw head being intended to rest on an upper leg of one of the sections of the collar, and the nut on a lower leg of the other collar section, the nut positioned below this lower leg.
According to the findings of the inventors, a first problem with this type of collar is that the screw adjustment system is tedious, and for several reasons.
First of all, there is very often a risk of loss of the components, and in particular of the nut which, in the document EP 2182267 (A1), or FR2284083, must necessarily be removed from the screw, then be positioned, facing a bore of the lower leg, in an awkward position under the lower leg of the collar, the operator then simultaneously engaging the screw from above through the two bores, and with a view to engaging the screw, although often blind, in the tapping of the nut. The operator must still screw the tightening screw over a length corresponding to the threaded portion of the screw protruding under the lower leg, before the nut and the screw head actually force the two upper and lower legs towards one another. on the other by tightening the collar on the pipe with tightening of a seal. This difficulty is amplified by the fact that this collar is often placed on a fluid pipe located in an excavation (or manhole) deep in a cramped volume, and therefore difficult to access.

- le trou oblong comprend une extrémité proximale fermée et à une extrémité distale ouverte formant une embouchure autorisant le passage de la portion fileté de la vis lors dudit basculement ;
