La présente invention concerne une machine électrique (1) supraconductrice, par exemple à flux axial ou à flux radial, comprenant un inducteur (3) comprenant des pastilles supraconductrices (7) réparties circonférentiellement autour d’un axe (X) de la machine électrique (1) et une barrière de flux (12) comprenant un matériau supraconducteur, ladite barrière de flux (12) étant centrée sur l’axe (X) de rotation et s’étendant radialement à l’intérieur des pastilles supraconductrices (7).
