Un aspect de l’invention concerne un procédé (100) de commande d’un système de freinage de véhicule, ledit procédé (100) de commande d’un système de freinage étant mis en œuvre par un calculateur et comportant les étapes de: mesurer (101) une information traduisant l’enfoncement d’une pédale de frein ;fonction dudit enfoncement de ladite pédale de frein mesuré, déterminer (103) une efficacité de freinage du véhicule,si, pour un enfoncement de pédale prédéterminé, ladite efficacité de freinage déterminée est inférieure à un seuil d’activation, activer (104) un frein de stationnement.
