Dispositif de test d’étanchéité d’une membrane de cuve étanche et thermiquement isolante et procédé de détection de fuite associé. L’invention concerne un dispositif de détection de fuite pour détecter une fuite sur une zone de test d’une membrane d’étanchéité d’une cuve étanche et thermiquement isolante comportant une cloche de détection (55) dans laquelle la chambre de détection (61) comprend une pluralité de points de piquage (40) reliés à une pompe à vide et en ce que lesdits points de piquage (40) sont distants les uns des autres d’une distance au plus égale à 80 centimètres, les deux points de piquage (40) distaux étant situés à une distance de l’extrémité longitudinale respective au plus égale à 40 centimètres.
