Abstract

The invention relates to a removable panel (10T) comprising:- a frame (100T);- an opening (101T) capable of reversibly fitting into said frame;- at least one sling fixed to said frame at a first end and reversibly fixed to said sash at a second end; The removable panel according to the invention further comprises at least one hooking means (3) making it possible to maintain said sash engaged in said frame, each hooking means comprising a central part in pivot connection with the opening, said central part having at an upper end a hooking part intended to come into contact with the fixed frame, and at a lower end a handling part. Removable panel for suspended ceiling and suspended ceiling incorporating such a removable panel

The invention belongs to the field of architecture.

More particularly, the invention belongs to the field of suspended ceilings.

The invention finds particular application in the field of acoustics and acoustic panels.

Apart from aesthetic, thermal and/or acoustic considerations, the installation of a suspended ceiling makes it possible in particular to conceal the ventilation ducts and the electrical cable trays by creating a technical void, or plenum.

Panels intended to form suspended ceilings are known from the prior art.

The French patent application published under the number FR 3 082 538 describes a removable panel intended to be integrated into a suspended ceiling. The removable panel comprises a frame, a sash held to the frame by means of at least one magnet, at least one sling connecting the frame to the sash, and a safety device capable of securing the sling to the opening.

A disadvantage of this solution is that the use of magnets does not allow optimal maintenance of the sash to the frame.

The invention aims to solve the drawbacks of the prior art.

The invention relates to a removable panel comprising:

- a frame;

- an opening able to fit reversibly into said fixed frame;

- At least one sling fixed to said frame at a first end and reversibly fixed to said opening at a second end;

According to the invention, the removable panel also comprises at least one hooking means making it possible to maintain said leaf engaged in said frame, each hooking means comprising a central part in pivot connection with the leaf, said central part having an upper end a hooking part intended to come into contact with the fixed frame, and at a lower end a handling part.

In one embodiment, the removable panel also comprises at least one safety device capable of securing the at least one sling to the opening.

In one embodiment, the sash comprises at least one groove, each groove being associated with a safety device, and each safety device comprises an arm, and a first rivet and a second rivet, arranged on either side of said associated groove, the arm being fixed by means of the first rivet to the frame of the sash by a first end of said arm, so that the arm is capable of pivoting around the axis of said rivet by manual action, the second rivet being intended to cooperate with a hole in said arm to lock said safety device.

In one embodiment, the fixed frame is a rectangular frame having a square section, one vertical arm of which is arranged on the inside of said frame.

In one embodiment, the central part has a substantially flat and rectangular shape, the attachment part is a substantially flat part extending along a plane substantially perpendicular to the central part from the upper end of said central part, and the handling part is a substantially planar part extending from the lower end of said central part along a direction forming an angle substantially between 0 and 180 degrees with a direction normal to said central part.

In one embodiment, the angle formed by the handling part and the direction normal to said central part is substantially between 30 and 90 degrees.

The invention also relates to a suspended ceiling comprising a set of modular panels. According to the invention, the suspended ceiling comprises a removable panel according to the invention.

In one embodiment, the suspended ceiling is an acoustic suspended ceiling and the modular panels as well as the at least one removable panel are of the type:
- ventilated filter panel composed of a frame covered with an openwork textile cover stretched over said frame or;
- absorbent panel composed of a frame supporting an absorbent wadding and a microporous veil, the whole being covered with a textile cover.

In one embodiment, the modular panels are held together by linear joining systems ensuring flatness of said suspended ceiling.

With reference to the , a suspended ceiling 1 is made up of a set of modular panels 10 which come in filter panels 10F and absorbent panels 10A, respectively called “filters” and “absorbents” in the remainder of the description.

10F filters are panels made up of a frame covered with an openwork textile cover 11 stretched over said frame. The 10F filters make it possible, for example, to sift a light source located in a plenum located between the suspended ceiling 1 and a ceiling of a room in which said suspended ceiling is installed, or even to allow the air of an air conditioner to circulate.

In one embodiment, the frame of the filters is metallic.

10A absorbers are opaque elements intended for acoustic correction. Absorbents 10A are panels made up of a frame, an absorbent material such as absorbent wadding, and a microporous veil, the whole being covered with a textile cover 11.

In one embodiment, the frame of the absorbers is metallic.

The modular panels 10 are fixed together by linear junction systems 6, themselves fixed to the ceiling by a system of cables 2, as illustrated in the .

According to the invention, the suspended ceiling 1 also comprises at least one removable panel 10T, or "trap door", as illustrated in the . The removable panel 10T also has a filter or absorber function but can be removed to allow access to the plenum, as will be understood later.

Each removable panel 10T is composed of a frame 100T and a sash 101T, said sash being able to fit into said frame reversibly, from below said frame, so that, when the sash 101T is fitted in the frame 100T, the removable panel 10T is not significantly different from the other modular panels 10 making up the suspended ceiling 1.

Throughout the description, the notions of “lower” and “upper” parts are understood in reference to the position of the panel once integrated into the suspended ceiling.

With reference to the , the frame 100T mainly consists of a substantially rectangular frame, referred to below as the "frame frame", having substantially the dimensions of another panel 10 of the suspended ceiling 1, and comprising four profiles with a square section capable of receiving the opening 101T.

In one embodiment, the fixed frame is made of a metallic material.

The square section of the profiles has a vertical branch 1000 placed on the inside of the fixed frame and a horizontal branch 1001 forming an upper part of the fixed frame.

Those skilled in the art will understand from reading the description that the shape of the removable panel 10T is not limited to the shape and dimensions described above, but can be declined in various geometric shapes, depending in particular on the shape other panels of the suspended ceiling 1 in which it is intended to be integrated.

With reference to the representing a detail of the , the frame 100T illustrated comprises a set of four notches 1002 substantially having an “L” or inverted “L” shape.

With reference to the showing a top view of a notch 1002 in the shape of an inverted "L", each notch 1002 is virtually divided into a first rectangular recessed area 1012 and a second rectangular recessed area 1022, highlighted in the figure by means of lines in dotted. The first rectangular area 1012 has a first depth P1 greater than a second depth P2 of the second rectangular area 1022. The two rectangular recessed areas thus form a plate 1032, also highlighted virtually by dotted lines.

The frame 100T is fixed to the other panels 10 by the same linear joining system 6 as that used between any two panels 10.

With reference to the , the opening 101T consists mainly of a frame, hereinafter referred to as "opening frame", having substantially the dimensions of another panel 10 of the suspended ceiling 1, and comprising four square section sections on which is intended to be stretched the textile adapted to the role that the panel must play, that is to say filter or absorbent.

Although the sections of the profiles of the fixed and opening frames described above are those of a preferred embodiment, those skilled in the art will understand that they are not limited thereto. For example, the opening frame could also have the shape of a "C" profile.

In one embodiment, the sash frame is made of a metallic material.

The sash 101T is equipped with a set of hooking means 3 arranged on a side face 1011 formed by all the profiles of the sash frame.

On the , the attachment means 3 are distributed over two parallel sections of the opening frame, two of said attachment means being placed on a first section and two other attachment means 3 being placed facing each other on the parallel section.

With reference to the , the hooking means 3 each comprise a central part 30 having at an upper end a hooking part 31, and at a lower end a handling part 32.

The central part 30 has a substantially planar and rectangular shape, and is in pivot connection with the side face 1011. In the example illustrated, the central part 30 has a circular hole 301 allowing the fixing of the attachment means to the opening .

Referring to Figures 5B and 5C, the hooking part 31 is a flat part extending along a plane substantially perpendicular to the central part 30. The hooking part 31 is of dimensions substantially equal to those of the plate 1032.

The handling part 32 is a flat part extending from a lower end of the central part 30 along a direction forming an angle α with a direction normal to the central part 30, said angle α being substantially between 0 and 180 degrees.

The suspended ceiling being described here without relief, that is to say that a lower end of a ceiling panel is substantially at the same level as a lower end of an adjacent panel, the upper limit of 180 degrees comes the presence of a panel adjacent to the removable panel, which may prevent the implementation of a hooking means 3 having an angle α greater than 180 degrees, if the gap between the panels is less than the length of the manipulative part. However, those skilled in the art will understand that a greater angle can be envisaged in other cases, for example if the suspended ceiling has a relief, and in particular a lower face of the adjacent panel is at a higher altitude than that of the panel. removable.

To allow the placement of two acoustic panels according to the invention facing each other, the angle α is preferably between 0 and 90 degrees.

Preferably, the angle α is between 30 and 90 degrees, in order to prevent an operator required to manipulate the manipulation part 32 from intuitively exerting a pulling force on said manipulation part, thus risking damage the removable panel.

A regular and symmetrical distribution of the hooking means as illustrated allows a better maintenance of the opening 101T, as will be understood on reading what follows, however the person skilled in the art will understand that the number of means of hanging and their configuration are not limited to the illustrated example. The attachment means can for example be arranged on non-parallel sections.

In one embodiment, the hooking means are composed of a metallic material.

With reference to the , the textile 11 of the removable panel 10T, shown in strong lines, is fixed to an upper face 1010 of the opening 101T and to an outer face 1011 of said opening substantially perpendicular to said upper face, and said textile is only stretched at a lower part of the sash 101T, leaving an upper part of said sash free so that the sash frame can fit into the fixed frame.

Such a configuration of the sash 101T and of the textile makes it possible to use a fixed frame 100T of which two profile sections are represented on the .

With reference to the , two 100T frames of two adjacent 10T removable panels have two horizontal branches 1001 of the frame vis-à-vis. This has two advantages:

- on the one hand, the gap between the panels is better controlled because the vertical parts of the profiles of the fixed frame do not interfere, due to their thickness, in the adjustment of the distance between the panels, which allows more freedom in adjusting the gap between the panels;

- on the other hand, the frames are not visible between the panels by an individual moving in the room with the suspended ceiling.

Although the represents two 10T removable panels, these considerations also apply to a 10T removable panel adjacent to a non-removable panel.

For example, the illustrates a vertical sectional view of two adjacent panels, the left one being a removable 10T panel, and the right one a non-removable 10F filter panel. In this configuration, it appears that the configuration of the angled profile of the fixed frame of the removable panel makes it possible to control the gap between the two panels since the vertical branch 1000 of the profile does not interfere in the management of this gap. Moreover, it appears that on the that the non-removable panels can be entirely covered with textile without preventing the implementation of the invention.

The frame 100T and the sash 101T are also linked together by a set of slings 4. In the embodiments of the invention illustrated in the figures, four slings 4 are intended to connect the frame 100T and the sash 101T . The slings 4 are fixed to the frame 100T and to the sash 101T so as to limit the fall of the removable panel 10T when the latter is not held fitted into the frame 100T.

A set of safety devices 5, each comprising at least one sling blocking means and at least one locking means, is also arranged on the opening 101T.

Referring to Figures 7A and 7B, a safety device 5 according to the invention comprises an arm 50 and two rivets 51A, 51B.

The rivets 51A, 51B are arranged on either side of a groove 1013 of the leaf, in holes of the leaf intended to receive said rivets. A first rivet 51A makes it possible to permanently fix the arm 50 to the frame of the sash by a first end of said arm, the arm 50 being however capable of pivoting around the axis of said rivet by manual action.

The safety device 5 can thus pass from an open (or unlocked) position illustrated on the to a closed (or locked) position shown on the , in which a hole 501 of the arm 50 cooperates with a second rivet 51B to block the movement of said arm.

Conversely, the safety device 5 can be moved from a closed (or locked) position to an open (or unlocked) position by disengaging the arm 50 from the second rivet 51B.

The groove 1013 extends substantially transversely to the frame of the sash. In the closed (or locked) position, the arm of the safety device 5 is substantially perpendicular to the groove 1013, thus ensuring blocking of the sling, which cannot come out of the groove 1013.

In the open (or unlocked) position, the arm of the safety device 5 is no longer perpendicular to the groove, the absence of locking can then cause the sling to come out of the groove.

It should be noted that, for safety, if the safety device 5 is in the open position, the arm 50 prevents the sash 101T from fitting into the frame 100T. This function is ensured by the square shape of the fixed frame. Indeed, if the opening 101T is installed while at least one of the safety devices 5 is in the open position, then the arm 50 of at least one of the devices 5 will come into abutment against the vertical branch 1000 of the frame 100T, substantially vertical when said frame is installed in the suspended ceiling 1, thus preventing the establishment of said opening.

In one embodiment, the security device 5 consists essentially of a metallic material.

Those skilled in the art will understand that another mode of attachment than a rivet can be implemented.

With reference to the , four safety devices 5 are distributed facing each other on the two parallel sections of the opening 101T not comprising any hooking means 3. This example is not limiting and those skilled in the art will understand that another configuration than that illustrated could be envisaged, in particular one or more safety devices 5 could be arranged on the sections comprising the attachment means 3.

As illustrated in FIGS. 7A and 7B, during the installation of the sash 101T, each sling 4 fixed beforehand on the frame 100T installed in the suspended ceiling 1 is inserted into the groove 1013 of the sash, the device for safety 5 corresponding being in the open position. The sling 4 is then fixed in a reversible manner to the opening 101T, then the associated safety device 5 is locked, that is to say placed in the closed position, in order to prevent the exit of the sling 4 from groove 1013.

Conventionally, the sling 4 comprises a cable, intended to be slid into the groove 1013 of the frame of the opening, and a component at each of the ends of said cable, for example a ring or a hook, allowing the fixing of the sling to the 100T frame on the one hand, and to the 101T opening on the other.

The exit of the sling from the groove 1013 is prevented on the one hand by the arm 50 of the safety device 5 placed in the closed position, and on the other hand by dimensions of the component forming the end of the sling, which dimensions are large enough to prevent passage of said component through said groove.

Note that only one sling is shown in Figures 7A and 7B. The attachment means are not shown in these figures.

The sash 101T is then fitted into the frame 100T, and held in the latter by the hooking means 3.

During the implementation of the opening 101T in the fixed frame, the hooking means 3 are manually oriented by manipulation of the handling part 32 so as to be able to pass the hooking part 31 in the first recessed zone 1012 of the associated notch 1002.

The hooking means 3 are then oriented vertically so that the hooking part 31 comes into contact with the horizontal branch 1001 of the frame 100T, and more particularly with the plate 1032 associated with the notch 1002, said contact being maintained by gravity.

When an operator wishes to release the opening 101T from the frame 100T, for example to access the ventilation network, he slightly lifts the opening 101T in order to separate the attachment part 31 from each of the attachment means 3 of the frame, then causes said hooking means to pivot to allow the hooking part 31 of each of said hooking means to pass through the associated first recessed zone 1012 . The sash can thus be disengaged from the frame.

In one embodiment, each hooking means 3 comprises a spring tending to maintain said hooking means in the vertical position, that is to say the position of said hooking means when it is in contact with the frame. . In this case, the force exerted by the operator to pivot the hooking means must compensate for the force exerted by the spring, both to implement the opening 101T in the frame 100T and to release it from said frame. . The presence of the spring thus represents additional security once the sash has been installed in the frame.

The safety devices 5 can then be unlocked to detach the slings 4 from the opening 101T, which can then be manipulated freely, and in particular removed to allow access to the plenum.

Claims (9)

Removable panel (10T) comprising:
- a frame (100T);
- an opening (101T) adapted to fit reversibly into said fixed frame;
- at least one sling (4) fixed to said frame at a first end and reversibly fixed to said opening at a second end;
said removable panel being characterized in that it also comprises at least one hooking means (3) making it possible to maintain said leaf engaged in said frame, each hooking means comprising a central part (30) in pivot connection with the opening, said central part having at an upper end a hooking part (31) intended to come into contact with the frame, and at a lower end a handling part (32). Removable panel according to Claim 1, characterized in that the said removable panel also comprises at least one safety device (5) capable of securing the at least one sling (4) to the opening (101T). Removable panel according to Claim 2, characterized in that the opening element comprises at least one groove (1013), each groove being associated with a safety device, and in that each safety device (5) comprises an arm (50), and a first rivet (51A) and a second rivet (51B) arranged on either side of said associated groove, the arm (50) being fixed by means of the first rivet (51A) to the frame of the sash by a first end of said arm, so that arm (50) is capable of pivoting around the axis of said rivet by manual action, the second rivet (51B) being intended to cooperate with a hole (501) of said arm to lock said locking device security. Removable panel according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the frame (100T) is a rectangular frame having a square section, of which a vertical branch (1000) is placed on the inside of the said frame. Removable panel according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the central part (30) has a substantially flat and rectangular shape, the attachment part (31) is a substantially flat part extending along a plane substantially perpendicular to the central part (30) from the upper end of said central part, and the handling part (32) is a substantially planar part extending from the lower end of said central part in a direction forming an angle substantially between 0 and 180 degrees with a direction normal to said central part. Removable panel according to Claim 5, characterized in that the angle formed by the handling part (32) and the direction normal to the said central part is substantially between 30 and 90 degrees. Suspended ceiling (1) comprising a set of modular panels (10) characterized in that it comprises at least one removable panel (10T) according to any one of the preceding claims. Suspended ceiling (1) according to Claim 7, characterized in that the said suspended ceiling is an acoustic suspended ceiling and in that the modular panels (10) as well as the at least one removable panel (10T) are of the type:
- ventilated filter panel (10F) composed of a frame covered with an openwork textile cover stretched over said frame or;
- absorbent panel (10A) composed of a frame supporting an absorbent wadding and a microporous veil, the whole being covered with a textile cover. Suspended ceiling according to Claim 7 or Claim 8, characterized in that the modular panels (10) are held together by linear joining systems (6) ensuring the flatness of the said suspended ceiling.
